Our client is a friendly, team-orientated, mid-sized General Contractor based in San Francisco. They specialize in multifamily Market Rate & Affordable Housing projects with a self-performance concrete division. Due to demand for their services, a unique opportunity has opened up for a Project Manager to join their newly created Infrastructure division in San Francisco.
Your new role
In your role as Project Manager for the Infrastructure division, your main goal will be to support the manager of the division with multiple projects that are secured and support the bid process for new work in the future. You will utilize your infrastructure knowledge of civil: roads, bridges, transportation & airports to help identify and secure suitable projects. You will be the right-hand person to the Manager, and you will have strong autonomy in how you run your project work.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering with 10+ years as a Project Manager working on diverse heavy civil projects with experience in mass grading, contaminated soil remediation, wet and dry utilities, roadway construction, structural concrete and underground shoring systems. Some experience in urban infill projects with multiple inspection entities would also be valuable. You must be capable of conducting a thorough review of project documents & some estimating experience would be ideal. If you have experience working at San Francisco Airport, that would be a big advantage.
